Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Claudio’s passion for photography began at an early age. While studying at the Architectural University and the Instituto Europeo di Design in Rome, he developed an interest specifically in architectural photography, and began documenting the work of many emerging architects.

His work was quickly procured and published by architectural publications such as Abitare, Domus, and Casa Vogue.  Since moving to Los Angeles in 1989, he has continued his long-term relationship with the most influential architectural and interiors magazines in Italy, and his photographs have additionally been featured in American publications such as Architectural Record, Sunset, Home, Country Living, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle.  Today, Claudio’s inspiration comes from broader architectural trends that shape society at large, including the green movement, which has caused a political, social and environmental sea-change.

Claudio is an avid sailor, he lives in Los Angeles with his wife and 8-year old son.

Colorado born Jana Montgomery, began promoting Claudio’s work
since his arrival to the U.S. in 1989. Her background in design and
architecture was the right element to market architectural
photography. Through her brilliant skills and ‘gift of gab’ she
arranges photo shootings for projects designed by some of the most
prestigious architectural firms known, as well as homes of celebrities.

“I enjoy speaking with a variety of people. With each new contact I
take pleasure in a fresh and new rapport. Each person is
amazing….you begin not knowing them and end up photographing
their most intimate spaces. I’m left with the special feeling of having
had a new friend, even if for a short time.”

Today she divides herself between the challenge of her work and
her involvement at their son’s school.
